“Solar Eclipse” 2017 Commemorative Pin / Pendant Designed and Hand Fabricated by Christopher A. Hentz.
These pins were conceived after a friend told Chris that seeing a total solar eclipse was on his “bucket list”. This friend is taking time off work to travel to a place where he can view the total solar eclipse on the 21st of August, 2017.
After the conversation Chris thought it would be a nice idea to do the same but the timing could not work. Instead, he decided to make a pin to commemorate the event that happens infrequently and is rarely seen in the United States. The last total solar eclipse seen in the 48 contiguous states was 38 years ago!
Each pin is individaully fabricated from sterling silver and 22 karat gold, is signed and dated "Solar Eclipse - C.Hentz - 2017" and measures 2" in diameter. Included is an adaptor to wear the pin as a pendant and a soft fabric bag.
